Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley.
1. Sethan village
Sethan is a small Buddhist village located 14 KM away from Manali amidst the tall pine trees and snow-capped mountains. Not too far yet so far, Sethan is a secluded place to spend a weekend away from the touristy vibes of Manali.

Where to stay?? you can either choose to stay in an Igloo. An igloo experience is only available in winter. To some, Sethan is also known as Igloo village Manali.

And you can try the best pizza here too at Italian pizza they make wooden fire pizza and you’ll not regret trying this.
2. Pandu ropa

On this 8-hour hike to Pandu Ropa, a local guide shows you one of the best-hiking destinations in Manali. While it might be challenging, the hike offers some of the best views of Kullu Valley. You’ll walk through a forest of pine trees, and then leave the tree line behind as you hike up the alpine meadow. Pandu Ropa sits about 11,480 feet (3,500 meters) above sea level.

During winters you can experience amazing sky gazing while trekking at night.
3- Mall road

Mall road is the heart of Manali and one of the prime attractions for tourists, especially shopaholics. Mall Road has a number of showrooms, department stores, shops, restaurants and cafes.

A Himachal emporium that offers handicraft products of Himachal Pradesh like locally designed woolen clothes, branded clothes, pottery items, wooden products, and jewellery is also located here.
